We are a member owned financial cooperative credit union. Membership is open to Franklin-St. John's United Methodist Church of Newark, NJ and the immediate family members of the church members. Employees of Franklin-St. John's United Methodist Church are also eligible to join the credit union. The financial products and services that are available at Franklin-St. John's Credit Union are designed to save you money and offer many unique advantages.

HOW DO I JOIN?
You can become a member of the Franklin-St. John’s Credit Union by completing a membership application with a minimum deposit of $25.00. Once you you’ve opened your Share Account, you can immediately use the many financial services we offer.

 

WHAT IS THE CREDIT UNION?

A credit union is a not-for-profit, member owned financial cooperative whose main purpose is to satisfy the financial needs of its members. Excess credit union earnings are returned to the members in the form of lower interest rates on loans, higher yields on investments and savings accounts, or are invested in additional products and services offered through your credit union, you benefit.
